The Lowndes County Emergency Operations Center consisted of constructing a new 12,962 SF facility on a 3.1 acre site. The main operations center is constructed of a cast-in-place concrete structure and concrete roof deck. The facility serves as the operations center during any emergency or natural disaster in the Lowndes county area.
The project also included all site development to include perimeter security fencing, gates with automatic operators, water and sewer services, fire main, site grading, drainage, sidewalks, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, and landscaping.
