Once Phase 1 was completed the renovations took place in the Sandiford Building which is an approximate 15,000 sq. ft. 2-story building. Several smaller rooms were demolished to open up a space for teenage youth services and worship space. All remaining classrooms, offices, and corridors received fresh paint,  new carpet, new ceiling tiles, all doors and hardware were replaced, most of the HVAC system was modernized, and all lighting was upgraded throughout the space. The restrooms were modernized and brought up to current ADA standards and received new finishes. Additionally, the floors in the downstairs Fellowship Hall and most of the space on the second floor received a polished concrete finish. Minor kitchen renovations were performed which included replacing quarry tile flooring and relocating in place kitchen equipment. The fire suppression and alarm systems were extended throughout the entire Sandiford Building.

The project included building classrooms, worship space, restrooms, and mechanical rooms which encompassed the entire 10,500 sq. ft. of the 2nd floor. A structural modification was made to the exterior load bearing CMU wall add an egress stairway. Finishes included carpet tile, vinyl plank flooring, porcelain tile, painted drywall, wood doors, cabinets, countertops, and acoustical ceilings. The space was fitted with LED light fixtures, multiple air handling units, exhaust equipment, fire suppression, and was fully automated with DDC controls.
